Lady Dragons Win Conference Game Over Hinckley-Finlayson
Pine City hosted Hinckley-Finlayson on Thursday night.
Both teams looked to get back into the win column. The Jags got on the board first with a couple trips to the free throw line. Pine City then turned things around going on a 17-0 run. Their offense was able to set the pace of the game during that run, their defense also helped with some turnovers which were turned into points.

Lakeside Pub ceases operations; will reopen as Lakeview Shores event, retreat venue
Lakeside Pub in Pine City has concluded operations and is no longer in business as of Jan. 1, according to a news release from ownership. Dragons Fall to Braham
Pine City hosted Braham on Tuesday night.
Both teams got off to a decent start, but Pine City was able to match the pace that the Bombers set. This allowed the Dragons to keep the game close. You could sense Pine City had found some belief in their team, understanding they could stick with any team they faced. It was a back and forth battle, but turnovers started to pile up for Pine City, which Braham was able to capitalize on.

Water rate study recommendations presented to Pine City Council
The Pine City Council was presented with recommendations from a water rate study at a meeting on Dec. 17.
