Chisago County 100% Solar by 2025

An East Central Minnesota County is on course to be completely powered by the sun.

Chisago County has a plan in place that by 2025, the entire county would be run by locally generated power.

Most of that energy would be supplied by the 1200 acre North Star Solar Farm near Lindstrom.

The clean energy expansion if fulfilled in the next 8 years, would span across the 55,000 people in Chisago County along with every business.
