Medallion Found
WCMP’s Medallion Hunt captivated Pine City residents throughout last week.
The finder of the medallion won 500 dollars and bragging rights until next year.
The hunt quickly became a mystery when the medallion could not be found where it was hidden on Friday.

Chisago County High Speed Chase Chase
Early yesterday morning Chisago County Deputies involved in a high speed chase.
The suspect was traveling at over 115 miles per hour before deputies deployed stop sticks also known as a spike strip.
The suspect then drove into a wooded area when he exited the vehicle on foot.
Deputies responded by releasing K9 unit Stryker, who found the suspect and law enforcement was able to apprehend them.
Charges have been submitted for suspicion of DWI and fleeing law enforcement in a motor vehicle.
Public Personnel Honored
North Branch recently honored three of its public personnel.
Firefighter, EMS, and law enforcement officer of the year were awarded.
Marty Johnson, Brian Meyer, and Matt Paavola were given those awards, respectively.
Local Gospel Concert
Summer Gospel Nights a Kingery Family Concert this weekend.
They’ll be performing at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hinckley this Sunday at 6:30.
The concert is a free event for all to attend.
