Yesterday Pine County ushered in the holiday season with a spirit of giving at their tree lighting ceremony.
Surrounded by county board members, law enforcement, and the general public, a short speech was given by commissioner Josh Mohr.
The tree is currently on display in the Pine County Courthouse, decorated with ornaments from local schools including Pine City Elementary, East Central Elementary, Finlayson Elementary, Harvest Christian School, and Willow River elementary.

The County’s official tree was donated by Fairfield Tree Farm in Rock Creek.
