The Minnesota State Patrol and Isanti County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash at 7:57 a.m. on December 12th that resulted in the fatality of a 29-year-old man on Highway 47 near Bradford Township in Isanti County.
The crash involved a 2013 Toyota Camry driven by 29-year-old Abdisalan Mohamed Ahmed of Minneapolis and a 1999 Chevrolet S10 driven by Cindy Helen Anderson, 55, of Cambridge.
According the the report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Ahmed attempted to cross over Highway 47 where it intersected with County Road 5 when his vehicle was struck by the oncoming truck.
The driver of the pickup truck, Anderson, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Mercy Hospital.
