The Pine City Girls Basketball team is off to a great start this season winning its first six games in a row! The Dragons look to keep pace with their rivals from Rush City as they play host to Braham on Thursday Night. Braham is 3-3 on the young season. Pine City defeated Braham in both games last year. The game tips off around 7:15 and can be heard on 100.9 FM.

Pine City is looking to bounce back following the dramatic loss on Tuesday night to North Branch. Pine City, who is now 6-4 on the season, takes on Becker/Big Lake. The Eagles are 2-5 this year losing to Mora/Milaca and Monticello. Generally, Becker/Big Lake is a team that Pine City is able to defeat fairly easily with the Dragons knocking them down 10-2 and 6-3 last season. Watch for Jonah Bergstrom to try to record several points in this game as he seeks the all-time scoring record. Bergstrom is now just 18 points away from becoming Pine City's all-time leading scorer.
