Local Government Innovation Award
Multiple Pine County departments teamed up with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe to give opportunities to at-risk youth in the community, and now received an award for it.
Pine County Probation Director Terry Fawcett was the program director that led the way.
For their efforts, they received a Local Government Innovation Award from the University of Minnesota which was set for display this week in the Pine County courthouse.
