The Isanti County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash at 10:44 am on January 8th that resulted in the death of a 41-year-old woman on Palm Street near Bradford Township in Isanti County.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found that a female had been ejected from her vehicle and attempted lifesaving efforts that were unsuccessful. The driver died at the scene.
According to a witness in a release from the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle crossed the center line, and over-corrected, sending the vehicle into the ditch and ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash is still under investigation.
The accident is the second fatal crash in four days in Isanti County.
