An area owner of a team of sled dogs will have a bone to pick with the pack after the lot of them escaped recently.
The owner, unnamed, reported in to the Pine County Sheriff's Office that their pack of sled dogs and sled had gone missing after an hour of searching for them. Later in the day however, a caller reported to the Pine County Sheriff's Office that a team of sled dogs had been found entangled in the trees in the caller's yard.
"They put two and two together and reunited the dogs with their owner and everyone was happy. Not something you get in every law enforcement jurisdiction, it's pretty unique to here," said Pine County Sheriff Jeff Nelson.
If it weren't for that attentive citizen, the situation mutt have ended much differently.
