Movie Filmed in North Branch set to hit the Big Screen

A Hollywood film created in a familiar local setting is primed for release in the coming weeks (source).

House of Tomorrow, featuring Nick Offerman of NBC’s Parks and Rec fame, was filmed primarily in North Branch, Minnesota.

While it’s been touring film festivals since last April, the movie will finally release to select theaters on April 27th. The movie was inspired by a 2010 book by the same name written by a Twin Cities author, which was instead set in North Branch, Iowa.

The film currently boasts a respectable 8.0 rating on IMDB.
