Weekends dull? Nothing to do?
If your idea of fun is to spend the night in the clink, the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office has you covered.
They’re hosting an “Overnight Lock-up” event at the brand new Chisago County Public Safety Center to train staff at the new facility. Those interested can sign up to experience what a night in jail would be like, albeit with no consequences.
Limited spots are available, the event is $40, half of which covers costs, the other half will go to local charities. The Sheriff’s Office will be doing a random draw among those that sign up.
Here's what you need:
1. Be 18 or older
2. Pass a background check
3. $40 signup fee
That's it! Fulfill your dream and sleep behind bars for a night.
