The most impactful event each year in Pine County is the County Fair.
The University of Minnesota partnered with the county to find the economic value of the 2017 fair to the community and the results are in. 1,081 surveys were collected from attendees, 56% of which live in Pine County and 90% of all fair-goers were either satisfied or very satisfied by the fair.
For area businesses, the fair is vital in bringing in extra business during the days it goes on as $926,610 is spent by attendees and participants.
