The site plan for a Don Julio location in Pine City has been approved.
City Councilman Brian Scholin discussed the new restaurant with fellow councilmembers at the meeting on Thursday. Scholin said, "we looked at their site plan and gave them approval with a few basic changes."
Don Julio's still needs to submit a lighting plan along with a few other things, but Scholin believes everything is moving along fine.
The restaurant is hoping to be open by the end of the year.
