A Pine County Sheriff’s Deputy was sent to the hospital for minor injuries after a collision during a vehicle pursuit.
Deputies attempted to stop two speeding motorcycles traveling north of Hinckley on Sept. 2. One driver did stop, but the other continued north before being boxed in by squad cars and stopped just south of Banning Junction.
Two squad cars collided with each other during the pursuit. One deputy involved was checked out at the hospital and sent home.
The driver of the motorcycle was arrested on drug and traffic charges.
