A two car collision in Balsam lake Wisconsin resulted in the death of one man.
The vehicles were traveling on County Road I Thursday night when a dodge journey travel eastbound crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado.
Both the driver and passenger of the Dodge Journey were taken by ambulance to the St. Croix Regional Medical Center where the passenger James Church, age 57, died from his injuries sustained in the crash.
The passenger of the Silverado along with the driver of the Dodge Journey were transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul for serious injuries.
Thursday's heavy rain is being considered as a factor in the crash. The incident is being investigated by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
