The Burnett County board has approved a resolution to allow ATVs and UTVs the ability to be used on all County roads.
The resolution was approved last week. It will be brought before the County Board one more time on November 13 in order to be incorporated into the current ordinance.
This resolution will allow both residents and tourists to travel freely throughout the county.
Two sections of highway weren’t approved for travel and those were Highway A from State Highway 35 to Thompson Road and Highway O from Jimmy Carter Road to the St. Croix River.
These sections were not approved due to the high amount of daily traffic on Highway A and the fact that Highway O is a gravel road.
