Coon Rapids Mans Leads Chisago Co. Authorities in a Vehicle Pursuit


A Coon Rapids man led Chisago County Sheriff’s deputies in a car chase on I-35 early Saturday morning.

20-year-old Nile Jones-Vogt blew by a deputy going 118 mph near North Branch.

The deputy attempted a traffic stop but Vogt continued to flee. The chase continued on Highway 95 before ultimately stopping on 301st Ave Northwest where the driver and two passengers fled on foot. One passenger, a 20-year-old from Andover, did stay in the vehicle.

All three were captured by authorities.

Nile Jones-Vogt was charged with a Felony Flee Police in a Motor Vehicle, Misdemeanor Flee Police on Foot, Misdemeanor Reckless Driving, and Misdemeanor Minor Drink and Drive.

20-year-old Noelle Stockhausen of Minneapolis was charged with Underage Consumption of Alcohol and Flee Police on Foot.

19-year-old Katelyn Gitzen of Coon Rapids was charged with Flee Police on Foot.

The 20-year-old passenger who stayed with the vehicle was charged with Misdemeanor Drug Possession and released.

Numerous resources from the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, North Branch Police, and State Patrol were used during the pursuit. These resources also included a State Patrol helicopter and a K9 unit from Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
