Governor Tim Walz has called a special election to fill the seat in Minnesota's House of Representatives that was vacated by Senator Jason Rarick.
The special election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 19 with a special primary election scheduled, if needed, on Tuesday, March 5.
Candidates can file to run for the seat starting February 15 and ending by Wednesday, February 19.
You may file for this office with the auditor of Kanabec or Pine counties, or at the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State in Saint Paul. It costs $100 to file.
