After six years in the position, Dr. Ray Queener has announced that he will be stepping down as Superintendent of Cambridge-Isanti Schools.
The announcement was made during a regular school board meeting held last week.
In a statement released to social media, Queener said that he is stepping down to take a position as a Senior Consultant with TeamWorks International.
He went on to thank the staff and parents for their work and support during his tenure with the district.
"This cannot be accomplished, however, without tremendous support from parents and the community. These partnerships have been amazing, and I am most blessed to have had the opportunity to serve Cambridge-Isanti Schools students, staff and communities for the past six years," said Dr. Queener.
Dr. Queener’s last day with Cambridge-Isanti schools is Friday, August 23.
