The following is a release from the Pine County Sheriff's Office:
"On September 23rd, Sarah Beth Ziwicki age 29 absconded from the STS (sentence to serve) crew while out on a work detail. Ziwicki was serving a jail sentence for a non-violent drug offense.
The crew was in Sandstone at the North Pine Government Center. Ziwicki was last seen at about 11:20 am and left the building shortly after that. Ziwicki was last seen wearing blue jeans, white-colored tennis shoes and may have possibly changed into a red-colored sweatshirt.
Ziwicki has ties to the Sandstone and Pine City area. Anyone with information on Ziwicki's whereabouts is asked to call our office at 320-629-8380."
