Neglected Horses Seized from North Branch Residence

Charges have been filed after several horses were seized from a residence in North Branch on Friday, November 15.

According to the North Branch Police Department, The Humane Society of MN, along with the police, were called to investigate a report of several neglected horses at the property.

In a post on Facebook, authorities say they transported 11 horses to a boarding facility where they could receive necessary food and veterinary care.

The Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation is currently raising funds to help offset the costs of rehabilitating these animals. Donations are currently being raised on their Facebook page.
