An accidental discharge of a firearm in Burnett County, Wisconsin, sent a victim to the hospital Sunday, according to law enforcement.
The incident happened near Siren at Jed's on Clam Lake. Upon arrival, officers were told that the victim of the shooting was inside the bar and the shooter's location was unknown. North Ambulance was put on standby until the scene could be determined safe.
Further investigation determined that shot came from a residence across the street. Law enforcement says that the shooter was cooperative with the investigation.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance.
The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney for review of possible charges.
