Area school districts are investigating after receiving information about potential safety concerns.
In an email sent to parents of students in the Pine City School District, Superintendent Dr. Cindy Stolp said they are taking extra safety precautions during dismissal and modifying after-school activities.
Stolp told WCMP that the district is working with the School's Resource Officer to fully investigate the situation.
Braham Superintendent Ken Gagner said they are working with local law enforcement and went on to say, "(the district) has a comprehensive safety system in place that is reviewed on a regular basis and all threats are taken seriously."
Currently, both districts say that any threats made are not credible.
