Arrowhead Transit bus involved in single-vehicle Pine County accident; no serious injuries reported

An Arrowhead Transit bus was involved in a single-vehicle accident in Pine County on Thursday morning.

According to the Pine County Sheriff's Office, an accident was reported near Woodland Road and Brunswick Road just before 7:45 a.m.

Responding deputies were able to help four passengers and the driver out of the bus.

The passengers were transported to Essentia Health Sandstone with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was not injured in the accident.

The incident is being investigated by the Pine County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol.

The Minnesota State Patrol, Pine City Fire Department, Lakes Region Ambulance and Essentia Ambulance assisted the sheriff's office at the scene.
