Isanti County Sheriff’s Office deputies recovered a deceased body in North Branch Township on Monday evening.
According to a press release, the office received a call reporting a deceased adult male discovered in the 6200 block of 300th Avenue Northeast after 6 p.m.
The area of discovery was in proximity to the last known location of David Sorn, who was reported missing on Aug. 3.
Deputies arrived at the scene and confirmed the party as deceased. A firearm was recovered next to the body.
An investigation is pending, and the body was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
The sheriff’s office says there are no signs of foul play, and there is no immediate danger to the public in connection to the incident.
