A Chisago County Sheriff’s Deputy is recovering after his squad was struck by a pick-up truck Friday night.
According to a press release, the deputy was completing a traffic stop near the intersection of St. Croix Trail and Hemmingway Ave. in North Branch. There, a 28-year-old-year woman stuck the squad with a Dodge Ram pick-up truck.
The deputy was taken to a local hospital and was treated and released for his injuries.
The suspect was booked into the Chisago County Jail and is facing DWI and Criminal Vehicle Operation charges.
