MnDOT shares survey results for Mora Highway 65 and 23 corridor study
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has highlighted key takeaways from its public survey about the Mora Highway 65 and 23 corridor study.
According to MnDOT, survey participants said more vehicle safety at intersections, smoother traffic flow, and access to 65 and 23 from side streets were the three most necessary improvements for the corridor.
Safety concerns near Coborns, Dollar General, and Dairy Queen were also expressed in the survey results. Pedestrians said they didn’t feel safe crossing the highways.
351 people participated in the survey. 85% of participants drive on 65 and 23, and 62% live near the corridor.
MnDOT’s current project phase, focusing on establishing design alternatives, will go into November.
