Crews working on the Cross Lake Road bridge project and pedestrian trail near Pine City will continue through the month of November, according to Pine County Engineer Mark LeBrun.
Paving will be done in two stages to prevent damage to the top surface while utility companies complete their relocations.
The first surface will be placed this fall, and the final surface will be placed in the summer of 2024.
Later this month and into November, crews will be working on the west side of Cross Lake Road, widening the shoulder and replacing driveway culverts.
The Snake River bridge is set to close on November 13. Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and detours while the project continues.
The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2024.
