The Dragon tennis team had another strong night and had a 7-0 win over Foley. The team played strong and are improving each time they step on the court.

She worked hard and continued to dominate the match with her smart shot selection. 6-4, 6-1 2nd Singles: Addison Sell had her strongest match of the season with a solid win over her opponent. She had great placement and ball movement. 6-2, 6-2 3rd Singles: Brooke Boland was amazing with her decisions and ball placement. She dictated the match to keep her opponent off balance. 6-0, 6-0 4th Singles: Lily Struss played aggressive and capitalized on short ball opportunities to attack the net. Her great play kept her opponent out of position. 1st Doubles: Alllison Unverzagt and Sophie Lahti had their strongest match of the season with their aggressive net play and service games. 6-0, 6-0 2nd Doubles: Claire Emmons and Malia Mikyska stayed confident with their skills as they battled hard to win the second set in a tie breaker. Their ability to build off of each other and help each other out contributed to their success. 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) 3rd Doubles: Brenna Youngbauer and Lena Roubinek were a force with their strong returns and net play. 6-0, 6-3 I am so proud of the girls for their hard work. They are determined and ready to battle hard for each match. They learn from each match and come ready to practice and get better each time we step on the court. Their work ethic is what makes our team strong. They push each other, set high goals for each other, and hold each other accountable. We head to Duluth Marshall on Thursday and Hibbing on Saturday.
