Finlayson bait shop sells million-dollar lottery ticket

A shopper at a Finlayson bait shop will have a new kind of big fish story to tell.

According to the Minnesota Lottery, a winning ticket for the June 11 Gopher 5 Jackpot was sold at Petry's Bait.

The jackpot totals $1,161,960. The winning numbers were 6-28-29-37-40.

A news release from the Minnesota Lottery states that the convenience store, located at 2220 Highway 18, receives a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery players in Minnesota have one year to claim prizes, and their name and city will not be released unless they opt into publicity.
