Hinckley Woman Facing Assault Charges

A Hinckley woman is facing assault and property damage charges after she was arrested last week for allegedly throwing bricks through the window of a residence.

On August 18, Pine County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a residence on Tower Road in Hinckley with the report of a naked female standing outside breaking windows of the complainant's truck and house.

According to the criminal complaint, the suspect was uncooperative with deputies and claimed her kids were in the basement of the house. Responders reported seeing three windows to the house were broken out, part of the siding was pulled from the wall, and the windshield was broken on a black Toyota Tundra. Deputies also observed several bricks on the hood of the vehicle, pieces of brick on the deck, and pieces of brick inside the house.

The caller told deputies that she was alerted to the suspect after she heard her dogs barking. She went on to tell deputies that she saw the suspect naked and hitting the windshield of her vehicle with a brick.

The complainant said she went to lock the door when the suspect attempted to push her way into the house, reporting that the suspect threw a brick through the window behind her, hitting her in the back of the head. A responding deputy observed a red mark on the back of her head.

The suspect is facing felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and felony first-degree damage to property.

The estimated cost to repair or replace the damaged home and vehicle is in excess of $10,000.00.
