A 42-year-old Isanti man was arrested in Pine County last week on first-degree drug sale and possession charges.
According to the criminal complaint, a Pine County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a driver identified as Michael Davidson in Beroun on Feb. 5.
The Pine County Sheriff's Office states that the stop was initiated in the area of Beroun Crossing Road and Frontage Road.
The sheriff's office also said Davidson was the subject of a narcotics investigation by the East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force.
He was arrested after the deputy found a methamphetamine pipe on his person, and 55 grams of meth was found in a bag in his pocket.
He admitted to having more meth on his person at the Pine County Jail.
The complaint states that the deputy discovered a substance consistent with meth in the back of the squad car, and found a bag containing nearly 400 grams of meth.
On Feb. 6, Davidson told agents from the East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force that he attempted to hide a bag of meth behind the headrest in the squad car.
