The Pine County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after Immaculate Catholic in Pine City was broken into over the weekend.
According to law enforcement, the break-in happened between 6:00 p.m. Saturday and 7:15 Sunday morning. Thieves reportedly took two laptop computers, along with parishioner checks from the collection baskets.
The church recommends putting a stop on any checks dropped off at the office or received at the office by mail from Tuesday through Saturday.
