Medical Emergency Believed to have Caused I-35 Crash

A 22-year-old Blaine woman was sent to the hospital following an early morning rollover crash in Pine County.


According to the MN State Patrol, the woman was traveling northbound on I-35, south of Highway 23, on New Years Day when it is believed she had a medical emergency. Her vehicle left the roadway and rolled over in the ditch.


She was taken to essentia health sandstone for non-life-threatening injuries.


Alcohol was not listed as a factor in the crash.
