The Chisago County Sheriff's Department announced that the body of a missing Boston man had been discovered deceased in Taylors Falls on Tuesday.
According to a press release, a Chisago County resident discovered the individual while on an evening walk in the woods. The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office was able to identify the individual as 59-year-old Richard Jacobus of Boston, MA. The cause of death was listed as an apparent suicide.
Richard Jacobus was the subject of an active missing persons case after going missing between August 11th and the 13th in the Taylors Falls area.
