MnDOT will hold a public meeting on April 30 to share proposed concepts for the Highway 48 corridor through Hinckley.
The update is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Hinckley City Hall community room.
The corridor study is focused on Highway 48 between the I-35 ramps and Government Road. MnDOT says it’s a highly-used recreational route that experiences significant weekend congestion.
Project staff will share proposed concepts that address traffic and pedestrian flow, intersections, and safety for the future of the corridor.
A project for the corridor hasn’t been planned at this time.
