New Pine City Elementary School principal begins July 1

Sarah Kloeckl has been hired as the new principal of Pine City Elementary School, and will begin her tenure on July 1.

According to a news release from the Pine City School District, Kloeckl previously served as the director of special education with the St. Croix River Education District, supporting elementary school students and staff for the past two years.

Kloeckl has more than a decade of leadership experience in public education.

“As a leader and colleague, I prioritize being a listener, staying curious, operating with kindness and compassion, being present and engaged, making decisions with the learners at the center, and being solution-focused," Kloeckl said in the release.

Superintendent Dr. Cindy Stolp said the administration is "confident that Sarah’s energy, insight, and dedication will be an excellent match for our school and our community."
