Pine Center For the Arts to host Arellano's 'Sketchbook' exhibition through April

The Pine Center For the Arts will host an exhibition titled "The Sketchbook of Andrew Arellano, Onto the Next Page" through the month of April.

Arellano, a self-taught artist, began drawing when he was eight years old. The gallery will feature his charcoal and pencil drawings; many of his works have been inspired by his wife, Amy.

He's also inspired by the works of artists like Salvador Dali, Georgia O'Keefe, and MC Escher.

According to a news release from the Pine Center From the Arts, Arellano hopes to convey that "there is no limit to the imagination."

The exhibition will open with an artist's reception from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 3.

The Pine Center For the Arts is free and open to the public, with regular hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

The gallery is made possible through an operating grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council, and is sponsored by Sprouts.
