Four new Pine City Ambassadors will be crowned tomorrow night in Pine City.
The ten candidates, five senior and five junior, have been busy the last few months getting out and about in the Pine City Community.
Pine City Ambassador Committee Member, and former ambassador herself, Beth Erickson says the girls have been busy doing things like painting faces during Freedom Fest, volunteering during the Pine County Fair, and working hard to build leadership skills.
Erickson said it's the skills she developed during her time as an ambassador that helped make her grow as a person.
"I was able to volunteer a lot and really learn to be a leader in our community. It really forced me to step out of my comfort zone and become a better person," Erickson told WCMP.
The coronation will take place on August 9 at the Pine City High School Auditorium starting at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. They can be purchased at the door.
