From the Pine City Public Schools Facebook Page:

Tuesday Night at the Sub-Section Track meet in Milaca: Summer Thieman, Ella Sell, Arissa Rydberg, and Sophie Lahti broke the school record in the 4x400m relay by running a winning time of 4:16.80.

The previous record of 4:16.81 was held by Meleia Johnson, Jenna Fore, Cassie Filler, and Becky Osterdyk from 2003. This was the second longest standing record on the girls side.

The Girls Track team became back-to-back Sub-Section Champions winning with 159 points, beating Milaca by 46 points. In total there are 19 girls advancing to the Section meet in 13 of the 18 events.

The Boys Track team earned a Runner-Up finish to a very good Mora team. In all, there are 9 boys who advanced to the Section meet in 10 out of 18 events
