Look, we are aware that the headline is probably setting us up for heartbreak. It has before. However, we at least have information that isn't a random comment on Facebook speculating on the future of the long-awaited restaurant.
Monday morning, WCMP's morning show was joined by Interim City Administrator Lynda Woulfe to discuss things going on in the city.
Towards the end of the segment, linked below, Woulfe said the restaurant owner is in the process of hiring staff and applying for a liquor license.
The signage isn't up yet, but we can hold out hope that the ability to eat Mexican food without having to drive 20 minutes is on the horizon.
