Pine City’s interim City Administrator Lezlie Sauter has been hired by Pine County as their Economic Development Coordinator.
The position is nothing new for Pine County as Robert Musgrove serving in the role following his tenure as Pine Technical and Community College President. After Musgrove left in 2017, the position sat empty until the board decided to use some of its American Recovery Act Funds to bring the position back.
Sauter was hired during the April 20 board meeting and was chosen based on her tenure with Lakes and Pines and work with the City of Pine City.
Sauter will start in the role on May 17th.
