A deceased male party was discovered in rural Kanabec County by Isanti County and Kanabec County Sheriff's Office deputies on Tuesday.
According to a news release from the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, a targeted search was coordinated by the sheriff's offices in response to an investigation of a missing person reported in Isanti County in February.
Investigators acquired permission from property owners in the search, which resulted in the discovery of the deceased male party in a wooded area.
The body, described as a Caucasian adult male, was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office. His identity is being determined.
