Temporary overnight closures set for I-35 in Hinckley on June 20

Construction work on I-35 in Hinckley will cause some temporary nighttime closures on June 20.

According to a MnDOT news release, bridge beams will be set during the overnight hours. The highway will be closed for short durations of up to 15 minutes for the beams to be delivered.

MnDOT says the work is expected to end around 3 a.m.

Once all the beams are set, northbound closures of up to 15 minutes will occur for shoulder pavement repairs. MnDOT says closures are expected to be completed by 6 a.m.
