A suspect was airlifted, and a vehicle was significantly damaged following a Wednesday vehicle pursuit in southern Pine County.
According to law enforcement, the truck was reportedly stolen from the Holiday Gas Station in Pine City. It was later spotted by deputies, and a pursuit began on Highway 70.
Pine County Sheriff Jeff Nelson told WCMP that the truck continued east on 70, where it entered a field and eventually crashed into a creek bed. The suspect was not with the stolen vehicle when deputies located it, but he was later arrested at a nearby residence.
The sheriff's office said the suspect was injured and needed to be airlifted from the scene.
