A bus driver was sent to the hospital after two Chisago Lakes School buses collided Monday afternoon.
According to Lakes Area Police, the crash happened at the intersection of Olinda Trail and U.S. Highway 8 near the Dairy Queen in the City of Lindstrom. One bus had reportedly braked for a pedestrian when it was struck from behind by the second school bus.
The buses were transporting middle school students at the time. All students were checked by EMS at the scene and cleared to be released.
One Bus driver was transported by ambulance to be evaluated for pain.
The collision is being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.
