A 59-year-old Chisago County woman is in custody after she allegedly stabbed her partner over the weekend.
According to law enforcement, Lakes Area police were called to a Chisago city residence on Sunday evening with the report of a potential stabbing. The victim reported that his girlfriend had stabbed him in the chest, and a knife was recovered from the scene.
The victim was transported to a St. Paul hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was booked into the Chisago County Jail on second-degree felony assault charges.
