A 41-year-old Cambridge man was charged last week with one count of criminal vehicular homicide, six felony-level counts of criminal vehicular operation, and DWI in a July 2 crash that resulted in a fatality in Pine County. According to the criminal complaint, multiple law enforcement agencies were dispatched to a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 48 and Wildlife Road. Kameron Ellis, a 63-year-old Hinckley resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Rush City hosted Hinckley-Finlayson on Wednesday night. The Tigers came into the regular season finale having won on homecoming night, while the Jags lost to a tough Aitkin team on their own homecoming. The Tigers received the opening kickoff, and only needed two plays to get a first down. But they were then stopped and forced to punt after the next three plays.
