Dragon and Tiger Girls Both Off to Undefeated Starts

Girls Basketball

The Pine City Dragons are off to a 4-0 start this season. Led by sophomore standout Lily Wilson and senior Grace Langmade, the Dragons are working towards bettering their 23-5 record from last season. They match up at home against the East Central Eagles who are 3-2 on the year. Pine City defeated East Central in both of their games last year. The game will tipoff around 7:15 and can be heard on 100.9 FM and wcmpradio.com.

Elsewhere in girls basketball, the Braham Bombers head on the road to face the tough Rush City Tigers. Braham is 3-2 on the year while Rush City is 5-0.

Both Rush City and Pine City sit on top of Section 6AA and it will be likely that they face each other in the sub-section championship game. They face each other in the regular season on January 12th.
