A northern Pine County man had around 24 racing burglarized last week.
These birds are specifically trained to race from one location back to their home, and races can cover distances up to 600 miles. Racing pigeons can cost anywhere from $20 to $375 dollars.
Thankfully, the birds training has aided the owner in recovering them. They have slowly been returning to their home since the theft.
